General cargo ship YUSUF CELAL loaded with gravel ran aground near Topagac, Marmara island southern coast, Marmara sea, Turkey, on Mar 13. The ship apparently suffered breached hull and following massive water ingress, until finally, she sank, bow resting on bottom, with superstructure and stern being above waterline. 6 crew are safe, and already transferred to nearest port.
As of 1430 UTC Mar 13, ship’s AIS was still on. Probably she will be refloated.
