The valuable contribution of the Greek language to the European languages.
The best and most reliable proof of the indisputable fact of this contribution to the European counterparts is nothing
more than the very facts and figures that testify to the “phenomenon”. The book by Aristedes Konstantinidis “

Even more astonishing, of course, is the amount of the vocabulary related to medical and scientific terms; out of the 43.716 words included in the dictionary, 2o.346 are actually of Greek origin and “root”. In effect, out of 178.903 British words, an amazing total of 51.807 ( i.e. 29.24%) is actually derived from the Greek language.
Another renowned American linguist, Mrs. McDonald, states that the total amount of Greek words integrated into the British vocabulary is nearly 600.000 words, that is 3,4 times more than the English ones and 4,3 than the French.
And, for the record, figures never “lie”.......
