sailing boat hits the sinkable bridge at Isthmia of Corinth canal

....once a friend, Captain in the very North Europe told me that , you never sail after a good meal of red crabs.  Is this the case?? the sailling boat tried to enter the Corinth canal while the bridge was upcoming... and all signals was denying the entrance.
